Master Management Group (MMG) has launched a new retail development, MMG Centers Krosno, located on Sikorskiego Street, one of the city’s main transport arteries. The project will deliver around 26,000 sq m of gross leasable area (GLA) and more than 1,000 parking spaces. As part of the scheme, Agata will develop a standalone large-format store of approximately 5,000 sq m, set to become one of the key anchors drawing customers from across the region.
The development is taking shape in one of the fastest-growing parts of Krosno, with convenient access both from the city centre and from the main inbound routes. The surrounding road system, as well as internal circulation across the site, has been designed to ensure smooth traffic flow and a convenient customer experience.
MMG Centers Krosno is being developed directly next to a new residential district planned to provide around 3,000 apartments. This strong residential base is expected to support steady daily footfall and help build a loyal local customer base. The project responds to the needs of a growing part of the city and to rising consumer demand across the wider region.
Diverse retail offer
Agata, one of Poland’s largest and best-known home furnishing brands, will deliver a standalone retail building within the development. Its presence will be a key element of the scheme’s offer and an important factor in strengthening the project’s scale and market appeal.
“The presence of a standalone Agata store significantly strengthens the potential of this investment and its role on the region’s retail map. Combined with the ongoing expansion of the road infrastructure and a broad retail and service offer, MMG Centers Krosno has the potential to become one of the most important shopping destinations in this part of Podkarpacie,” said Paul Kuśmierz, CEO of Master Management Group.
Agata’s store concept is based on extensive inspirational displays and a product range spanning multiple price segments, appealing both to customers furnishing entire homes and to those looking for selected furniture pieces or decorative items.
“We see Krosno as a market with strong potential, and MMG Centers Krosno stands out thanks to its attractive location and solid demographic base. We see significant room for growth in this part of the region and are convinced that our presence in this project will allow us to respond even more effectively to the needs of customers in Krosno and the surrounding area,” said Marcel Rodak, Director of Network Development at Agata.
The scheme will feature a diversified tenant mix spanning grocery, home furnishings, fashion, services, and food & beverage.
Strong economic fundamentals
One of the project’s major advantages is the ongoing expansion of road infrastructure in this part of the city. Works currently underway include the reconstruction of Sikorskiego Street and the construction of a rail overpass above the railway line. In the coming years, the area will also gain direct access to the S19 expressway, part of the international Via Carpathia transport corridor, further strengthening the project’s regional connectivity and transport significance.
The investment is also supported by Krosno’s strong economic fundamentals. Around 6,000 businesses operate in the city, while unemployment remains among the lowest in Poland. In addition, approximately 17,000 people commute daily to work in Krosno from surrounding municipalities, reinforcing local purchasing power and the project’s retail potential.
