Master Management Group has reached 100% occupancy in Szczecin retail park

Master Management Group is broadening its range of tenants in the MMG Centers* Szczecin retail park. Shortly, discount chain ALDI is to take up the most space and the first store of the brand is to open in the city. The home and interior renovation segment has been filed by the Scandinavian brand Flügger, which specialises in high-quality paints and renovation equipment, while Nexterio, which sells ceramic tyles from Polish producers, has enlarged its area.

The leases are for an area of almost 2,700 m² and have been signed by both new brands and stores that were already present, which have – encouraged by their previous sales success – enlarged their areas. The huge interest of tenants in the MMG Szczecin retail park shows the enormous potential of this popular shopping destination on the retail map of Szczecin. The wide range of local and international brands and the excellent location act as a magnet to pull in the people of Szczecin and the surrounding area. As a result of the effectiveness of our negotiations during the post-Covid-19 period, we have succeeded in putting together a unique tenant mix and reached a leasing level of 100% in the centre, sums up Anna Polak, Head of Leasing at Master Management Group.

ALDI is to take up an area of over 1,600 m² and this popular brand will open its first store in Szczecin. The retail park managed by Master Management Group will have a full range of available goods from groceries including bread baked on-site to chemical cleaners, electronics, and household goods. ALDI will have many of its own-branded goods on sale as well as those of other popular producers. The store is to open at the end of October.

We have made a very good decision to open our first store in the city in the MMG Szczecin retail park. What convinced us were the excellent location, the attractive mix made up of the other tenants and the varied client base of the area. It's worth pointing out that awareness of the ALDI brand in the area is very high. Soon shoppers will see for themselves that ALDI is quickly to become the store that sells their favourite goods and fresh produce at prices for every pocket. Our slogan is ‘Once ALDI’, always ALDI’ because you’ll always be happy to come back for your favourite products, says Krzysztof Kurowski, Real Estate and Expansion Manager at ALDI.

“A grocery supermarket run by such a popular brand as ALDI will definitely increase the footfall of this exceptional shopping location as well as the value of the centre itself, emphasises Wioleta Sobieraj, Leasing Manager at Master Management Group. Our working relationship even during the negotiations over the contract was already working well since both parties saw clear benefits both for the customers of the park and the businesses of both companies," she adds.

Another new tenant in the MMG Szczecin retail park is Scandinavian brand Flügger, which has leased 227 m². The store sells high quality paints for almost every kind of surface, putty, wallpaper, decorative strips and also professional overalls and power tools. “When it comes to this location, our goal is to increase our number of retail clients while maintaining an attractive range of goods for professionals. The location offered to us by Master Management Group meets these conditions very well. The Flügger paint store in the MMG Szcecin retail park sells a wide range of goods, interior finishings and offers professional service and support to the customer," says Marcin Borowiec, Regional Manager at Flügger Poland.

Nexterio, a store that sells a wide range of ceramic tiles, stoneware, brickwork and mosaics made by renowned Polish producers, has increased the size of its lease from 550 m² to 830 m², while well-known furniture store chain Abra has also enlarged the size of its lease. Additionally, a Pan Materac store has joined the tenant list.

The MMG Szczecin retail park is in the south-eastern part of Szczecin in the largest and most popular shopping area of the city. It is a place with a large range of stores selling household goods, interior and renovation goods (Jula, Abra, Flügger, Nexterio), as well as electronics (Media Markt) and it also includes an Action non-grocery discount store, a Decathlon sports store, and a Fun Jump trampoline park. Customers have up to 400 spaces in the car park at their disposal, while it is also possible to arrive by bus. Because the stores have outdoor entrances, shoppers are less exposed to the risk of disease transmission.

MMG Szczecin has a total combined area of 14,200 m². The retail park is managed by Master Management Group.
