NEW TENANTS, LEASE EXTENSIONS AND PLANS FOR FURTHER GROWTH – MMG’S  STRATEGY FOR MMG CENTERS CIECHANÓW

Nine tenants at MMG Centers Ciechanów have extended their lease agreements for a total of nearly 3,300 sq. m of retail space. Three new tenants will also open their outlets. Master Management Group, the owner and manager of the facility, is also embarking on an expansion of the center. MMG Centers Ciechanów, with a GLA of 15,600 sq. m is 100% leased and enjoys the position of the leading center on the local market.

- Recently, we took over the portfolio of 7 centers we had been managing up till then - MMG Centers Ciechanów is one of those facilities and the first one to be expanded. Tenants trust us and are convinced by the results of our active management strategy. They also appreciate our efforts aimed at maintaining and strengthening the position of MMG Centers Ciechanów on the local market. The planned expansion is a response to the demand for retail space from new tenants - said Paul Kuśmierz, CEO of Master Management Group.

2017 was very successful in terms of the number of extended lease agreements. Brands which will continue to serve customers at MMG Center Ciechanów in coming years include New Yorker, Martes Sport, CCC, Hebe, Apteka Przyjazna, Big Star, Kolporter, Play and RTV EURO AGD, which welcomed customers with a completely new concept. Apart from that three new islands have been opened in the passages: an MKiosk banking point belonging to MBank, a stand with Semilac hybrid nail varnishes and a Bujaki photo booth.

Due to the number of tenants interested in retail space in the center, Master Management Group is planning to expand the facility by approx. 3,000. sq m. - Several stores at MMG Center Ciechanów want to implement a new concept, and some have already expressed their wish to extend or refurbish their premises. Some refurbishments are planned for the next year. In addition, we want to develop an entertainment and restaurant zone in the center, including a multi-screen Planet Cinema - said Anna Polak, Head of Leasing at the Master Management Group.

Michał Masztakowski, Development Director at Master Management Group: - We are currently analysing the extension and reorganization of the center. Technical and architectural consultations are underway to design a space suited to the needs of tenants and clients. We intend to schedule work to minimize any inconvenience to customers during construction. We plan to add about 3,000 sq. m of new space and reorganize about 3,000 sq. m in the existing part. After the expansion, MMG Centers Ciechanów will have nearly 18,000 sq. m and will become the dominant commercial center in Ciechanów. Customers will be able to do their shopping, as well as taking advantage of a wide range of services and entertainment opportunities.

In September this year, Master Management Group took over the portfolio of centers located in Kutno, Ciechanów, Piekary Śląskie, Józefosław, Lubin, Poznań and Szczecin. The company also manages Brama Mazur in Ełk and Galeria Niwa in Oświęcim, which together with the acquired centers account for approximately 100,000 sq. m of retail space. In addition, MMG is working on the latest concept of Forest Park Outlet in Łomna near Warsaw. It will be the first outlet center in Poland distinguished by unique architecture of the village outlet and in harmony with the surroundings. MMG also is also implementing projects in Zawiercie Kołobrzeg and Legionów and is building an office, retail and hotel facility in Lodz, Hi Piotrkowska 155.
